As of June 10th until July 10th, the Football European Championships will be taking place in France. For the football fan his is great news, 1 month of international football watching the best players from around Europe going head to head.
But what if you’re not a football fan? Well I’m afraid you’ll be spending the next few weeks trying to remember what time Coronation Street is on because ITV are showing Romania v Switzerland at 7:30pm.

White Water Rafting
If the game goes to extra time, try a 2 hour session of White Water Rafting at Tees Barrage International White Water Centre. Let your wild side run the show and take on the rapids with up to 8 of your mates. No previous white water experience is needed – just dive straight in!
Cool off from the football at Billingham Forum Ice Arena. Try the ladies only Make Your Move session every Monday from 7:30pm – 9:30pm. Fellas, Simply Skate sessions are on every day, which of course are open to all.
Activ8 Fitness Class
Miss the first half and try a 45 minute Les Mills Body Combat class with Activ8. If that’s not for you, Piloxing, Spinning and AquaFit are all 45 minute sessions.
Enjoy a leisurely swim or race down the flumes at Splash. Enjoy a 1 hour session in the pool and maybe spend some time in the Jacuzzi after for good measure, just to make sure you know the football will be defiantly be finished when you get home!
